WorkPlace Receiving provides a web-enabled purchase order receiving capability
that enables WorkPlace users to receive the goods and services
that they order from within the WorkPlace interface and regardless of their physical location.
Workplace Receiving allows a user to receive against multiple PO's created from within the WorkPlace review
session or those created directly within Microsoft Dynamics GP.
WorkPlace Receiving provides users with two receiving methods: automatic receiving and manual
receiving; the method available to each user depends on that user's security authorization.
Automatic receiving scans your open purchase orders to receive against.
Upon receipt, an email notification can be automatically sent to the requisitioner;
this is useful where the requisitioner and the receiver are not the same person.
Used in combination with WorkPlace Invoice Matching, WorkPlace Receiving allows users to
receive shipments and match shipments to invoices from within the same user interface.
