WorkPlace Inventory Replenishment facilitates inventory replenishment and speeds
approvals by examining stock levels and requirements for an Inventory Item and
automatically generating requisitions identifying recommended order quantities.
For each item, WorkPlace Inventory Replenishment looks at the desired replenishment
level in Dynamics GP Purchase Order Generator Item Maintenance; if there is insufficient
quantity in stock (e.g. if the desired stock quantity exceeds the quantity on-hand),
the stock manager can generate an inventory replenishment transaction that will
automatically create a purchase requisition in WorkPlace and submit it for approval.
Any pending requisitions for like stock are taken into account, and those quantities
will be automatically subtracted when generating the requisition. Specific criteria
can be set identifying items for replenishment, or a single transaction can easily
be generated for all items needing replenishment.
WorkPlace Inventory Replenishment takes the guesswork out of replenishment and speeds
approvals because approvers know that the recommended replenishment quantities conform
to their organization's purchasing parameters.

| When Needed: |
- We need WorkPlace to recommend order quantities based on our criteria
- We need to be able to replenish our inventory from within WorkPlace
- We need an easy way of requisitioning all items needing replenishment
- There are certain essential items and we need to make sure we never run out of those items
- We need to be able to define which items need replenishing and according to what criteria
- We need to be aware of other requisitions of the same items so we don't duplicate order and waste money
