The Crystal Reports Engine allows the attachment of custom designed reports to the
WorkPlace application and the ability to determine which reports may be viewed by
which users based on security setup for the user or role.
WorkPlace includes a standard set of default reports that can be run against WorkPlace data
in real-time. If organizations want to run their own custom reports for real-time
data reporting and analysis and make them viewable
within WorkPlace, then the Crystal Reports Engine is required.
The Crystal Reports Engine module requires for report creation the Crystal Reports application,
which is not included as part of the WorkPlace installation.
