Optimize requisitioning by exploiting the power of Dynamics GP Sales Order Processing from within WorkPlace.
With the WorkPlace Sales Order Fulfillment interface, a Reviewer can generate a
sales order in Dynamics GP Sales Order Processing to fulfill the requisition by
either pulling from inventory on hand or by generating a purchase order, or both.
WorkPlace can generate a Quote, Order, Fulfillment Order, Invoice, Return or Back
Order type sales order. The Reviewer creates the sales order from a requisition;
those requisitions can be entered over the web with comments and attachments and
routed for approval before the sales order is created.
A Reviewer can “Fulfill All” or “Smart
Order All” at the header level or “Fulfill” at the Requisition header or line
level. By selecting “Fulfill All”, the requisition lines that have inventoried
items will be set to a status of Fulfill and requisition lines with non-inventoried
items will not be affected. By selecting the “Smart Order All”, the requisition
lines that have inventoried items will be set to a status of Fulfill and all
other lines will be set to a status of Order. Upon completion of review line
items with a status of Fulfill are assigned a unique sales order number and
the sale is processed through GP Sales Order Entry.
The WorkPlace Sales Order Fulfillment interface is tightly integrated with
Microsoft Dynamics® GP Sale Order Processing. Upon completion of the requisition
review session, sales order numbers are assigned and the GP Sales Order Entry
module is populated with the data from WorkPlace. |
